Evidence Strength

Cases sorted by how convincing the evidence was in the court's own reasoning -- for decided cases only. This reflects the court's own conclusions, not our judgment of guilt or innocence.

Thin evidence

The court reached its verdict on limited, circumstantial, or contested evidence -- for example a single witness account, or evidence the defense seriously challenged.

50/50

The evidence was mixed -- meaningful points on both sides, with the court weighing competing accounts or interpretations before reaching its decision.

Overwhelming evidence

The court's verdict rested on strong, multiple, and largely uncontested evidence -- for example forensic proof, video footage, or a confession corroborated by other evidence.
